HOOK LIFT TRAILER PH

Hook lift trailer thanks to its design of a single axle chassis and a very functional construction is an universal vehicle for works on forest areas (or other closed areas, e.g. agricultural areas).

The trailer has been designed particularly for technological containers suitable for being transported on means of transport equipped with a hook lift, e.g. containers for bulk materials, wood chips, seedlings, etc.)

The PH trailer has been designed to work with tractors equipped with:

  • a pick up hitch (for 1-axle trailers)
  • hydraulic connectors – for powering the hook lift system
  • a pneumatic connector – for brakes
  • an electric socket – for trailer's lighting.

PH trailer can also be used for transportation and emptying of trash containers or pickup of short wood 1,0 – 2,0 m from the harvesting area on forest areas and its transportation in specially designed stake containers to wood landings. Loading and reloading of wood is done by an external loading device (hydraulic crane with a timber grapple).

A single-axle chassis improves the handling capabilities of the set tractor – trailer, and the low pressure reinforced tires together with bogie suspension guarantee a stable ride off- and on-road. Due to a lateral stability towing the trailer should be performed only on flat terrain or slopes up to 20% angle.

The hydraulic system assembled on the trailer is powered from the hydraulic system of a tractor and allows for loading and unloading of special technological containers in any place independently from external devices. The loading/unloading area's slope should not exceed an angle of 5°.
