The device has been designed to perform repair and maintenance works of forest dirt roads.
After road's surface shredding and profiling crossfalls it is necessary to compact the top layer of road to harden it. Increasing of compaction intensity is achieved thanks to application of vibrating elements. The device is based on drawn plates equipped with own oscillatory elements.
The PW compacting plates provide:
a) a possibility of hinging on a tractor with three-point hitch
b) coupling with a tractor with engine power rating 75-110 kW (approximately 100-150 HP)
c) an aggregate of three working plates that divide the working width into three separate sectors
d) powering from PTO shaft by an own built-in hydraulic system
e) adjustment-free use thanks to a built-in self adjustment system depending on the working resistances
f) elements in the hydraulic system that protect the device from an overstrain.
