ROTARY MULCHER MF-160
Rotary Mulcher MF-160 is a device mounted on and powered from tractors supplying a minimum power output of 80 HP.
Power is transferred from tractor's PTO via a telescopic shaft to the operating disc fitted with shredding knives. A friction clutch protects the powertrain from an overstrain. The shredding knives are located along the circumference, bolted between both discs. In the case of hitting a hard obstacle, the knives retract entirely sliding in between the discs.
The device allows for shredding wood material of a diameter up to 6 centimetres, however this depends on many factors, e.g. species, type, density, moisture and thickness of the deposited layer of material. In the case of bush shredding the mulcher should be fitted with a beam facilitating shredding of live shrub. Very effective in maintenance of inter forest meadows.
