FLAIL MULCHER RB

RB Flail Mulcher has been basically designed for shredding of organic remains from clearcutting works straightaway in the field. However in individual cases it can be widely applied, i.e.:

  • clearing out the understory
  • shrub removal
  • plantation care
  • clearing out areas under the power lines
  • removing lichen from post-agricultural areas
  • removing vegetation and weeds from roadsides, ditches, forest tracks, etc.
  • shredding of burnt down young forests.

The device is mounted on and powered from tractors providing a minimum of 80kW power in the case of the narrow mulcher (RB-15).

Simplicity in adjustment of the device is brought down to possible changes of the position of the main body relative to the main frame of the suspension as well as adjustment of the rear protection cover position using hydraulic cylinders. All controls during the operation are performed from tractor's cabin.

The flail mulcher is a device powered by the tractor's PTO through a PTO shaft, bevel gear and a belt transmission. A friction clutch and a one-way clutch protect the device from an overstrain. The mulcher is characterized by a high effectiveness of wooden material shredding. An area prepared with this machine is immediately suitable for plowing.

Drum rotors of the mulchers are dynamically balanced during production process.
