FOREST RIDGER PL U049
The ridger has been designed to form ridges in preparation for planting on temporary wetlands. The rotating head grinds and throws the excavated soil aside of a trapezium shaped trench simultaneously forming a ridge. Trenches prepared by the ridger improve water drainage and planting takes place on the top of the formed ridges.
The device is powered from tractor's PTO shaft. After lifting up the side shield which is responsible for forming the ridge, the machine can be used for preparation of fire protection strips or burying fires. There is as well a possibility of using the ridger to clean existing or excavate new road drainage trenches.
Available two types of rotors:
- with cemented carbide knives
- with standard knives made of construction steel.
